A golden serpent entwines itself in sprigs of sage and yellow hemlock. A protection spell.  Hand carved wax relief sculpture , hand painted in oil paints with gold leaf accents.  The sculpture rests on a black velvet background. All of my framed relief sculptures feature a convex glass covering to protect from dust. The convex glass also creates a beautiful specimen or diorama look which I prefer.
